~ Booths ~

Two (2) sizes of booths are available, i.e. 8' x 8' renting for $85 a month, and 8' x 10' renting for $95 a month. There is no commission on the items sold from booths above the monthly rental fee. Booths rent from month to month, payable at the first of each month. The shop provides adjustable shelving tracts, brackets and shelves. Items placed in the booths must be clean and kept in an orderly fashion. As in the rest of the store, flea market items are not acceptable, as the shop strives to maintain quality antique items throughout the store. Large furniture items are not allowed in the booth. Items must easily fit on the shelves provided or on the floor beneath the shelves, to allow easy movement and access to everything in the booth. Large items may be sold on commission and placed in the more open parts of the shop. The shop and the renter each have the option at the end of the month of discontinuing the rental of the booth. No notice is necessary. Booth renters tag their own merchandise in the booth in an easily read manner displaying the booth number assigned by store owner.

Checks for booth and commission sales are made available by the 10th of the month following the sale. Antiques on Washington collects and pays all sales taxes. While Antiques on Washington makes every effort to protect against damage and theft, vendors leave their items in booths and on commission at their own risk.

~ Commission Sales ~

Single items may be placed in the shop on commission. The commission on a single piece is 22% of the sales price. Commission items must be left at least sixty (60) days on the sales floor. If at the end of sixty (60) days the item has not sold, either party has the option of removing the item from the store. All items must be in good repair and clean. The owner/manager will mark the item for sale upon receipt at the store. The store will not discount a piece without the express agreement of the owner of the piece. Appointments must be made to view items prior to accepting them in the shop.
